Wellbeing Physiologist Barrow In Furness, Cumbria

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Wellbeing Physiologist to work in Barrow In Furness, Cumbria on a full time permanent basis. The role will be to:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients and musculoskeletal conditions, identifying root cause of injuries, movement or dysfunction
• Develop and interpret wellbeing rehabilitation programmes using evidence based techniques
• Provide hands such as soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisation and other manual therapies as appropriate
• Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, biomechanics and exercise techniques to minimise risk of re-injury

To apply you will need to be a qualified and experienced Wellbeing Physiologist with previous rehabilitation experience. You will need to have a degree or equivalent in sports rehabilitation, sports therapy, physiotherapy or related field. You will need to have membership of a relevant professional body such as BASRat or SST. You will need to have strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and exercise prescription principles as well as proven experience in assessing, treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries.
