Job Type: Part Time Contract (3 days a week for 12 months)
Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit a Mental Health Counsellor on a part time contract basis 3 days a week for 12 months as in West Hampstead, North London. The Mental Health Counsellor is a member who plays a critical role as part of the health services/mental health counselling team, responsible for providing clinical mental health services.
This includes
• Providing clinical mental health counselling in an individual as well as a group setting
• The development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, and programmes
• Consulting with staff, and administration over mental health topics.
• In addition, the Mental Health Counsellor will participate in developing proactive mental health and well-being programming in collaboration with the Health and Well-being Practitioner.
To apply you will be a licensed psychotherapist or counsellor that allows for independent practice.
Experience with adolescents and adults – prior experience in a Higher Education environment would be beneficial.
Working Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 9am to 5pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary Range: £29,169.09 to £30,423.66 FTE (pro rata based on 0.6, £17,501.45 to £18,254.19).
